Winnie Ngozi Ikpeazu is a Belgium gospel minister, singer, songwriter, worship leader and author. The Nigerian born minister popularly known as Winnie Martins began her call to ministry at the tender age of 8 when she started composing songs and subsequently joined a church-based all-girls gospel group, Cross Connection which at the time organized weekly evangelical programs to reach out to the public through music at the La Bourse square, Belgium. In 2006, they released their debut album titled “You Never Know”. Following her exit from Cross Connection, Winnie Martins continued to experiment with different sounds exploring her solo career as a singer and songwriter while also collaborating with other known music ministers. Shortly after she began working on music for her debut solo and in 2017, she made a double single release with tracks, “YOUR GRACE” and “THANK YOU”, in 2018 Winnie Martins went ahead to collaborate with Nigeria’s fearless music minister, TIM GODFREY on her next single, a song titled “CONFIDENCE”. In November of same 2018, she released “OVERDOSE” another single with Nigeria’s Gospel dancehall Queen, AGENT SNYPA. In July 2019, she returned with a AfroPop fusion “YOU” featuring Belgium artistes Lekan Salamii, Glorious and Nigerian CHH sensation Limoblaze. 2020 see Winnie Martin set to release a new body of work starting with the Audio and shortly after video for her song “TAKE OVER”. Winnie Martins is also a youth and women counsellor who uses her position as a local church coordinator to create awareness against drug addiction and domestic abuse. She has graced several stages with respected gospel artists such as, Ron Kenoly, Buchi, Sammy Okposo, Steve Crown and Tim Godfrey.
