Nsiima Festival 18 Review; How it all went down

Happiness and Joyous moments, fun all around and everyone on the jubilation mode was the characterisation of this the "Nsiima Festival"

Ssengendo JohnMary a.k.a JohnMarie is one of Uganda's celebrated Afro-beat gospel artists, who as well happens to be a sound engineer and a producer with and at M-One Records, a Songwriter as well ,very talented and gifted yet so humble, this has made him thrive in this industry pitching out to greater heights to the glory of God.

Known for his hit song Nsiima that literally implies a "grateful and appreciative heart" out of what someone does for you, in this case it is appreciation to God that he was implying, in this song.

Nsiima Festival happened on the 9th of December at the Uganda Museum and it got the young and the adults joining in to this celebration that kicked off at midday and lots of fun with drinks and eats, in other wards it was fun, lots of gospel artists representing the likes of Levixone, Liljoe, Dux Enock, Samie Smilz,  KenB, Ps. Wilson Bugembe, Jk shine, Don Zabbu, Anyek, among others all coming through to give us a great celebration of the event.
Hosted by the "King of Radio" King Wesley and having lots of sponsors coming through to support this awesome cause, the most important part of it all is that it was made affordable to everyone including the kids and so it was an incredible moment of fun. JohnMary has a meek spirit and he has moved to places both in and out of Uganda, blessing many with his music, and so this festival got many coming through and testifying to the goodness of the Lord for him and his music, and how they have been impacted by his songs.

Performing a couple of songs and covers made the whole festival a colorful one, that is songs like Newuunya, He's Able, Gwaake and then the hit song "Nsiima" which got everyone dancing and dancing and dancing to the song of all seasons.
Moments of culture fused with the urban sound ,this was so beautiful to behold, as it sounded so unique and heavenly, which echoes to scripture that says, "Praise him with the sound of the harp, timbrel, flute" in other wards all these instruments both local and urban can both be used to praise the LORD and make a joyful sound to him in adoration. Nsiima Festival brought forth a unique touch to sound in the whole place.

An appreciation to Power 104.1 FM for the great work of pushing this brother and his entire music ministry and then to Spirit Fm 96.6 for the tremendous job of support, thanks to manager Mr. Sabiti Timothy and the wife for coming through and for loving on this brother , may God bless you immensely for this and reward you beyond man's capability.

Not forgetting the catchy scene of the festival when "JohnMarie Proposed and the wedding went on immediately" hahahaha!! this was so captivating a moment that surely made it more and more colorful and i must say the "Nsiima Festival'18" was amazing and to those that missed follow on this with the pictures to suffice.

As GMP Promotions, we are so honored to have been part of this cause and we must say we are glad to have been part of this history making.
