Born on the 29th of July 1988 in Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe, he was Christianed David Sinkonko.

As early as 5 years, he was already dancing and singing along to some local jams.

Grew up in a traditional family submitting to ancestors and went through a lot in his upbringing.

At the age of 16 in 2004 he started writing his own music with a group called Holy flames crew at Calvary Baptist church. He was a church goer singing church music but had not accepted Jesus as his savior. Music was/is his source to express his story his testimony from the industries challenges the community problems, spiritual walk ups and downs, being looked down upon among many.

Holy flames lasted for 6 months and he went solo.

In 2005 under the name C Vybez, he began his journey in secular music.

With great influence from artists like Wayne Marshal, Wayne Wonder, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, Richie Stephens, Tanto Mento and Devante and Mr Vegas to mention but a few. He was a singer jay. At that particular time he started listening to Capleton the Poet, Mutabaruka and Sizzla and had a great passion to follow the rasta religion to the point he denied Jesus saying he was a white man savior.

2005 in December he and two other guys formed the Bayse  2 connection which was regarded as the TOK of Zimbabwe among those who saw them .

In 2006 he saw Gods greatness in the life testimony of one reggae artist Priministers life at a video shoot and a month later he was baptized, and began his journey in Christ. With the anointing in music from artists like Sherwin gardner,  Papa San, Jason Mighty, Yankee B, Chavel Franklin and Corey Red it helped him shape his life and journey.

He’s graced over 300 events as a Neo Soul, Hip Hop ,Reggae Dancehall artiste, opened for artists both local and foreign including  Dafari from Kenya who also happens to be his mentor , cC from south Africa, Reazon Reazon, Rational from Zambia among others. Locally, most of the urban gospel artists. He has been acknowledged a couple of times:

2006/7, He won the most entertaining group and best supporting act at the Church of Worship Awards with the group CMI which comprised him and black lion who was 1 of the artists who made up Bayse 2 connection.

2009: got the going places award at the cross culture awards, by this time he had gone solo by the name Wadiwa Musiq

2011: was second runner up as a neo soul artist at the Harare’s got talent show.

2013: he released a mixtape called Rated ®eality vol 1 which opened doors for him internationally, saw him also getting invites to feature on many international riddim projects and also being in the sound click charts.

He has collaborated with artistes like Clifford Fayah Henry, Courtney Antipas, Lil Megaz, Gil ,Tifa, Nowizz, Sonz of the King, Zambia, Dr mike from Panama  to name but a few. He has jus featured on an international projects which includes the fisher of Men riddim from St Lucia and the Healsongs Riddim project which he did the song Nah Worry which is getting international airplay. the project featured artists like Sista Sasha who did the popular song Am still in love with Mr dutty rock Sean Paul, Dafari, Suze-Eye, to name but a few.

Currently he is working on lots of international projects. He is workin on his first album called 1st degree, an album with productions from some of the top producers in the world From Riddim Culture from England to Rebuke musiq from Trinidad and Tobago, Dj wallas from France Complimented by top producers from Zimbabwe, Equation Kritikal Beats clapin Jusa Dementor  its only but a journey. Also partnering on the album is Mr Grant Munatsi or Dj lavite whose media house is responsible for the end product.

About the single Neva Let Go which features the great amaizing voice of Clifford Fayah Henry from the Cayman islands an artist whose worked with Dj Nicholas and also was Part of the Katalist crew label.

Neva let go is a single that just brings hope after having lost my mom who was a major support to my musiq ministry, I felt like giving up all there was to life. When I was going through a state of confusion and anger, my big brother came up with that great chorus and God Just revealed to me situations in the bible where he came through the words became a motivation. God’s plans for us are to prosper us not to fail whatever Jericho in our lives will hit the ground like Goliath. Jezebels, Delilahs may come but God will see us through. It’s more like declaration that we will reach the goal despite all obstacles that we face through Christ we are conquerors.
