Kawooya Samuel William popularly known as K.A.Y WILLIAMS was born and raised in Kampala,UGANDA and grew up in a religious family but never knew who God really was and is until when God Himself by His SPIRIT called him into a new life as described in 2Corinthians5:17 on Saturday,28th May,2011.He says that all this happened one morning when He was in his classroom at London College of St.Lawrence,a high school from where he had discovered a talent in music.He narrates his story: 

I used to sing secular music since my Senior one,go for high school rap battles,discos..just to mention but a few.I was so much taken up by the worldly life,but God had mercy on me because that's who He is-compassionate and gracious!!.

He spoke to me through different people and it took me about a full month to totally yield to what He was doing in me-removing the heart that had been hardened and giving me another heart of "flesh".I really can't explain how I felt on my day of salvation because it was like a veil was removed off my face and I started seeing life from an eternal perspective.

What mattered to me at that point was eternity and I was so much overwhelmed.It was so a heavenly experience that I immediately got out a Bible and started preaching in front of the whole class! I started a new life and joined the fellowship of fellow brethren and always hanged out with GOD fearing people.This helped me to grow strong in my faith as God used them to lift me up whenever I could fall as a spiritual babe does.

I started composing new music as the Holy spirit guided me and had to let go of the secular life.God later gifted me with leadership at my school where I became the entertainment prefect,the first born again entertainment prefect ever in that school! and I was appointed as an evangelist in the SCRIPTURE UNION club because of the zeal for souls the Lord had placed in my heart.

I studied a bachelors in ACTUARIAL SCIENCE at Maker ere University in UGANDA. Now I'm living for GOD by His grace,a life of purpose.He has given me and keeps giving me several songs,some of which are already recorded,and I am totally persuaded that the work God begun in me He shall finish until the return of our Lord JESUS Christ.
