Joshua has been writing, performing and singing music for many ears and is excited about now giving us a taste of what is to come from his album .

To date Joshua Kesler's gift of singing has taken him to various places in churches and secular events across the UK as well Barbados, Europe and America. Joshua can be heard belting out gospel reggae with a passion and tenacity that captures his audiences across cultures, age groups and backgrounds.

An outstanding facet to Joshua's ministry is the fact that he ministers in prisons regularly with renowned UK Gospel Artist Isaiah-Raymond (known from 'Raymond & Co') & history making Ex- professional footballer -Bruce Dyer the founder of Love Life UK Outreach, a vibrant radical prison ministry making a difference in prisons across the UK. Inmates in various prisons have requested Joshua's music again and again as they can relate to his real heart-warming delivery and the infectious joy that he brings.

Joshua grew up in an environment where Christian values and principles were applied and as a result was sent to Sunday school every Sunday without compromise with his older brother. Joshua's parents felt it was important that their children had a strong Christian foundation as living in the community of Brixton came with its social challenges even back then.

One of the things that kept the Thomas household happy was the different genres of music that was played via the airways or records played via the 'gram'. The music predominately played was reggae i.e. John Holt, Dennis Brown to name but a few. Joshua's Mum would sing along, not knowing that her singing would be the inspiration that would stir the gift of singing in her son. It was in Joshua's early years that he began to sing and share his gift in the presence of family members who would encourage him to sing, however his gift of singing did not materialize until he was much older.

In 1993 Joshua started to attend church more regularly and began to take his faith more seriously, it was during this time that he made a commitment to follow Jesus. In June 1995 Joshua was baptised at Brixton Baptist church. As time went by Joshua went through a rough spiritual patch and left the church, but thankfully returned; as did the prodigal son in the classical bible story.

Joshua began to serve within the life of the church and it was then that he built up the courage to step forward and utilize his gift of singing. Joshua went from strength to strength, and would passionately sing songs ranging from old hymns to contemporary gospel songs that would inspire and uplift the congregation regardless of their age group.

In 2006 Joshua's gifting began to expand and he realised that God had gifted him with the ability to write songs that would bless and encourage the hearts of people. Due to his love for the old hymns, mixed with his love for reggae music; Joshua soon realised that his style and blend of 'Gospel reggae' could be used as a powerful medium to reach many people.
