Actually singing became part of my life as a teenager and God put a big dream in my heart to not only sing for myself, not to entertain the world, not to show others what i have but instead i should use it to build his church and glorify His name, so i grew up with that in my heart but at some point, the devil tried to take my life very early to make sure that i don't do what i was created to do.

In 2011 when i made 20 years old, I started feeling a terrible pain in my left rib, I didn't take that as something serious but I ignored it. I could feel it but later it used to disappear. When we entered 2012 January then February, it wasn't that much, life kept on moving but in September it became terrible that i couldn't even bend down for at least two minutes, i couldn't wash, was not able to do any work so i told my boss that I wasn't feeling well and he gave me thirty thousand Uganda shillings to go for medical check up, so when i reached the clinic, the doctor took me straight for the check up. He kept asking me questions after questions like when did this start?, have yo been on medication, are your parents alive? And am like doctor, why all this questions? He kept quiet and walked away so he left me for one hour alone but his questions kept repeating over and over in my mind, so when he came  back he ask me again are your parents alive and I told him, no sir. He said to me, you need serious help before it's too late. Thats when I aske him what the problem was. He sat down, held my hands and told me that I had a kidney failure.

Oh my God! my heart ♥  broke. Thats when hecontinued to say, you need to get two thousand dollars ($2000) approx ^.* Million Ugx. to help you get real treatment as soon as possible. But if yo don't act very soon, you might need a kidney transplant. Hearing that made me feel like am dead before it's time then he gave me some pain killers and i went back home.

Days passed, weeks passed, it's December 2012, but I kept praying and reading the scriptures believing that one day my help will come since I din't have anyone to stand by me. and then, here cometh my healing day,  a pastor called Samuel kasenke was preaching live on alpha fm lunch hour, I was listening in and so keen so i kept asking God to heal me also as he did for other people so that i may live to fulfill my destiny and glorify his name, then soon pastor started praying for the sick people then he said there is a young man at the age of 20 battling with kidney failure with no help from anyone but I feel the spirit telling me to pray for you, so if you know you are the one, touch your radio set and touch where you feel the pain, let's pray together, so i did as he said and he started praying for me in his words i quote "your body is the temple of the holy spirit not the temple of disease so have faith in Jesus and believe that today is your day of deliverance. I believed, we prayed and got done then he opened the phone line for the listeners to call.

People started calling saying, I perceive the holy spirit saying that young man is gonna get healed. I said amen and then the pastor went off air. I went back to bed in the middle of the day. It was too hot but sleep came and took me. In my sleep, I had a vision, someone stretched forth his right hand ? and picked very cold ice from the refrigerator and placed it on my left rib where i was feeling pain. Then a voice said, "be free" then i smiled in my dream as i watched that soft hand ? going back.

I woke up and when i got up from my sleep, my left hand was dripping with water, very very cold and strength less. Then I remembered what I dreamt about, that's the moment I realise I had been made whole. I came out of the room stretching and checking myself but I couldn't feel any pain. I wore all my clothes, did all the works that evening, I even went for road work too.

Ii did what i couldn't do. After three days, I counted as Jesus rose from the dead, I also went back to the clinic and the doctor said "have you gotten money?". No, I said check me again, He said, what!, I said check me again, and he checked me and found nothing, He asked what happen son? I said Jesus christ the son of the living God healed me, he was very very happy and said I knew someone was gonna come to your rescue. Go son, go and serve your God, I came back home very excited giving praise and honour back to God,
So from there, I took a day praying and fasting asking God "what can I do to appreciate you for all you have done for me?" the Lord told me "do what i want you to do for me and I will do what you want me to do for you" use what I have given you to build my church ? and glorify my name and I said "amen so let it be Lord".
The first song i came up with is wipe my tears and the name Jay Free came as a result of what God has done for which literally means Jesus set me free.
