Elandre is a Christian hip hop artist from Tanzania. His music, centered on his faith in God, is a fusion of rap, poetry, African rhythm and trap music. His eloquent style cuts across mainstream industry, and is a perfect vehicle to reach and speak life into young people and directing them to the true living God who takes away the sins of this world. Through the music, he shares his perspective on matters of life, character, and God’s love towards everyone on the planet.

Elandre was born in the city of Dar es Salaam, bred in the capital of Botswana, Gaborone where he spent half his youth, he then transferred to the warm heart of Africa, Malawi. He moved back to Tanzania in 2000 to complete his high school and university studies, where he started his rap career.

He released his first single Keep Moving produced by Casy Ze Banger in 2007. The single successfully introduced him to the Christian rap scene.

In 2010, Elandre was introduced to the late Mac Elvis and he was featured in the title track to his second album Church Boy. This track hit the airwaves and remained top of the charts for over six weeks. In the same year, Elandre released his second single, Every day, produced by Mac Elvis.

In August 2011, he met Zambian producer Taz and was later signed under Goemi Records and immediately started working on his debut album in Lusaka early 2012.

Elandre’s debut album, Projekt Three6teen, was released in April 2014, featuring  12 songs, produced by Zambian producers Taonga Emmanuel Sakala a.k.a TAZ, alongside co-producers Morgan ‘The Syndicate’, and Jonah Banda a.k.a  Bizzy. The songs have enjoyed airplay in Christian radio stations and some mainstream radio stations in Zambia, Uganda and Tanzania.
