Devotion, a Gospel group out of Anderson, S.C., consisting of 4 dedicated Christian women. It is comprised of Carmen Salley, Kristie Marshall, Deirdre Hairston, and Nikita Hairston. Founded by Howard D. Curry (Kristie and Carmen’s father) and encouraged by the grandfather of the group, the late Willie D. Hairston, Devotion started singing at an early age in church at Generostee Baptist Church in Starr, S.C. They have performed at several church programs in the surrounding area, weddings, benefits, as opening acts, and concerts. They are currently working on their first album featuring singles, "I'm Praying" and "Hold On", and they will be on tour with the Extreme Tour, a christian outreach ministry, this summer. Devotion combines a soulful chorus of vocal passion with
smooth beats to produce a joyful noise for the glory of God. Fusing older styles with a contemporary
urban flair, Devotion has established a sound that has brought them recognition. With encouraging lyrics and uplifting voices, the group is committed to blessing listeners with God’s Word. With big plans for the future, Devotion is set to accomplish great things through their expressive music. The priority of Devotion is always God first!
